"A blast to own and drive!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The CD player refused to operate correctly, Mazda simply replaced it.

General comments?

This car is a dream to own and drive. It rides well and handles fantastic.

Our's is fully loaded and I recommend getting all the options you can to enhance the experience.

I have a 2000 Mazda Millenia that eats front tires every 10k to 15k despite regular alignments. Anybody else experience problems like this.

I had an 87 626 that went through tires, often after about 250,000Kms, but that was a strut problem.

I have a 96 Millenia that has gone through 3 complete set of tires. Car has 61,562 miles and in desperate need of another set of tires. I buy good tires. Last set was Goodyear Eagle GA. Car has had 4 major alignments, but doesn't help. Last alignment was at a premier Honda facility-heard they had state of art equipment.

I have a 1999 millenia that I love. There is a problem with the tires though. It seems that the front tires go flat for no apparent reason. I have had it checked by the dealer and there is no damage to the tires.

I have a 99 mazda millenia and they came standard with michellin XGT V tires which had to be replaced at 17,000 miles, but I replaced them at 23,000 miles. I then bought Dunlop Sport A2 tires with 420 AA tread and I only have 35,000 miles on the car and they need to be replaced as well. I think mazda has problems with their suspension and alignment because mine is always thrown off easily. My mercedes never has these problems. If I were to do it over, i'de pay 10K more to get the mercedes and not deal with this garbage.

I have 1997 Millenia which is my 3rd and by far the worst car I have ever owned. It has had over $4000 worth of work done to it in the year 2003 alone. Luckily it was mainly warranty repairs everything from the electrical system, to the temperature gauge. The engine light is one literally every 60-90 days. Now I have found that I am running into the problem that the parts are unavailable or on back order. While I sit here and wait for a O2 sensor my engine light has begun to blink. I would never recommend a Mazda vehicle to anyone it's a driver's nightmare.

I have a 97 Millenia and I have had 1 major problem since I bought it. At about 50K miles the Timing harmonic sensor (not exactly sure if that's what its called) broke. It was a warranty repair $100 dollars out of pocket. As far as Tires go I'm currently on the second set in 3 years no alignment or ware problems. There have been a few minor problems, the CD player stopped working, I bought a new one. The automatic tilt steering stopped working so I just disabled it. Aside from that the car has been extremely reliable and inexpensive to own (knock on wood) I'm currently at 85K miles and still running strong.

I have a 2001 Millenia. I am very impressed with the way this car handles. I receive a lot of positive comments about the look if it as well. It is fun to drive with plenty of power. I have had a few problems however with the knock sensor. I ordered one through a Mazda dealership and as luck would have it, it was the wrong one...Naturally, they refused to exchange it do to a the amount of time it took to take it back. Any takers on a new knock sensor... I do not have any complaints about this car and overall, I'm impressed.
