"For the price I paid to buy new, no regrets"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

EGR Valve is a constant worry. I have changed the

Fuel to only Sunoco Regular. This has improved the

performance. I also have a Fuel System Service done

every year and a half.

At 253500 Kilometers I started to hear a noise when

engine moves from start on the first and second gear. The noise sounds like strong wind escaping from a door or window that is not sealed properly.

Noise goes away when engine picks up momentum. Checked Transmission Oil, looks good. Checked engine

Oil, looks great. I also took Car to Mechanic. He

heard the noise, but cannot determine what is causing

it. He states nothing wrong with Transmission or

engine. I am afraid to go to the Dealer as they will

say anything for business. Can anyone offer any

suggestions?

Except for the console between the front seats, everything else is holding together OK.

Rear Windshield Defogger has not worked for some

years. I believe this is designer flow.

Wipers come on in warm weather every time I put the

left turn indicator on.

General comments?

This SUV still gives a comfortable ride with lots of

room inside when I put the rear seats down.

It is still quite good on gas consumption.

The noise you hear is probably the fan clutch kicking in. I hear the same thing on my 94 Blazer before it warms up fully and it is perfectly normal.
