1994 Chrysler New Yorker LHS from North America - Comments

"A great car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My timing belt broke, destroying the water pump, and 2 belt tensioners. Almost a $1000.00 repair job.

My transmission has recently decided that it will sometimes engage drive immediately or it will engage when it feels like it. Sometimes not down shifting properly. If any one can help solve this problem, please contact me at dscott41@cogeco.ca

General comments?

I love the car. It handles great for a land yacht. People really look when a car this big can roast the tires. It likely is the most comfortable car I have owned.

I have been having the same issue with my car, also a 1994 New Yorker. I am wondering if the recent change in both your timing belt and mine may have something to do with it?

I would sure like to know if anyone knows what it will take to fix this issue.
