Pulls to the left for no apparent reason.
I want to make one thing perfectly clear, this car is a company car and I would never, ever buy one.
Why?---well here goes :
1 : The steering wheel has no tilt adjustment so you end up sitting like an ape (at least I do!)
2 : It has to be one of the worst handling cars in the class, the naff electric power steering has no feel, is too light, and much too sensitive.
3 : What the hell is up with the gearbox in this thing, if you drive it in auto mode when it changes gear you end up virtually being catapulted through the windscreen, and in supposed manual mode you have to be millimetrically sensitive on the throttle or the same happens, it's crap!
4 : The gearing is spaced too far apart, ie : doing 65-70 mph in fifth put your foot down, sweet FA, unless you hit the annoying kick down button under the accelerator pedal and it slams into third gear and revs it's nuts off!
5 : It's built well, but someone with the imagination of a potatoe designed the interior-it's so boring (look at cars like the Mitsubishi Colt, Citroen C3, Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris etc, perhaps weird, but at least interesting).
So, don't buy one unless you're a thick blonde who just wants a Corsa because they do nil deposit and its all you can think of, or you have no desire to drive anything remotely decent.
By the way--Good Stereo!!!
I have had my corsa design for 2.5 years and very happy with it. I had a problem with the ABS which was picked up in the annual service which have had no problems since. And by the way I am not thick and not a blonde.
I learn't to drive in a BSM Vauxhall Corsa Design 1.4i 16v Auto and I rather my Citroen C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive. Th interior in the Corsa looks so old fashioned compare to the C3.
