"Excellent car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My cruise-control is set on 110 km/h. How can I change it?

General comments?

Excellent interior workmanship (reminds me of my old beamer days)

4 wheel drive is very neutral and steering very exact

sufficient power, very lively at higher revs.

I have made a booking for a 1999 Toyota Harrier 3.0 at a recent car promotion. It is a re-conditioned car imported from Japan. On offer in the car show room were 4 similar models and I picked the one with a relatively cleaner interior, but the car that I chose has done more than 80,000km (whereas the other 3 models had about 65,000 to 70,000km on the dials. I noticed that the car I chose sits lower than the other 3 models. I wonder if anyone would let me know if there was any change in the specs of the car for the 1999 model; or is it likely that the shock absorbers of the car I chose have been set lower. I would appreciate advice as I intend to have a test drive in a few days time. Thanks.

I have also bought a Toyota Harrier 200o model. All the language is in Japanase. Is it possible for the dealer to help us translate this into English. Do they have ready manuals in English?
