Replaced radiator.
Transmission seal went at 60k.
Air conditioner compressor went at approximately 30k.
Front stabilizer bar links are bad.
Replaced water pump twice.
Generally a nice and reliable car, just a few quirks.
A friend is offering me a 1990 Taurus L for $1000 @ 47,000 miles. Sounds great, but I've been reading a lot a problems with poor transmission, head gaskets, A/C and paint that seem inevitable. What's your advice?
