My Peugeot 206 has been stalling and over-revving for the past 3 years, lately after stalling for 3 or 4 times I have to leave it till the next day before using it again. Has been in numerous garages and had 3 diagnostic checks all reporting no faults. Last 3 garages feel its the E.C.U, but that was also tested and no faults were found. Have now spent all my spare cash on it and am loath to pay for an E.C.U if this is yet again not going to work.
Used to love my car, but am at my wits end now.
Inlet manifold leak?
Faulty HT leads?
(It's likely neither of these would produce diagnostic codes)
"Used to love my car, but am at my wits end now."
- That's why the Peugeot is called the "Pig-out" by many people.
