"Looks like a hot car, but is it so on the road?!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Hello guys,

Actually I didn't buy my gen-2 yet, I am very impressed with it's design and the technical specifications written in the brochure. The question here is it really that good on the road?!

I heard from some friends that the car suffers from early problems in different parts (mainly electrical parts: power windows, side mirrors, lights..etc). people's opinions are conflicting, some of them likes the car very much and the other suspects it's quality and performance!

I want to hear from people who really owned the car or tried it.

Is it worth the money?

what about the engine performance at low revs (i.e:driving inside the city) is it powerful enough?

The reliability and quality?

what are the problems you faced since you bought the car?

and thanks to anyone who replies with his comment.

regards:)

General comments?

Well I didn't drive the car, but I checked it in a showroom once. I can say sitting inside you feel the lack of quality of an already good-looking dashboard and console.. the handle opening the car hood was ripped off when a customer was trying the car, that wasn't exciting

the looks great, but...

It's a light car with a supposedly good engine.. a friend of mine got one running against each other with my 2001 Opel Vectra 1.6 auto it doesn't seem fast compared to my heavier vectra (he's 150 kg lighter) I even outran him several times...

We stayed head to head for sometime at 180 kmh, but passing that he couldn't keep up while I easily reached 200 kmh

leaving him behind and he really pushed it to the limits

i really liked the car at first, but I was disappointed

concerning the handling bit it's supposed to be really good, but we didn't go on tight corners to try that.

Overall it's a well priced car, but I'm not sure about either the performance or the service here in Egypt.
