Cam Oil Feed Tube blocked and wore the Cam out rapidly.
Front Driver Door badly corroded.
Front Passenger Door corroded.
Driver Door Lock failed, Key wore out.
Boot badly corroded.
Nice car to drive and would certainly consider buying a newer model of the same shape, Interior hard to beat on cars of same year..
As you rightly pointed out, ford haven't managed to make as high a quality interior as the pre 1990 sierras since. Although the focus and new mondeo are good, the interiors of the late sierras and mondeos were obviously the result of cost cutting measures. Although they seem to have spent the money on better rust protection!
