Handles like a dream.
Breaks down like a nightmare.
Dealer's response to numerous failures is "Well, it IS the first model year for the new A4."
My response is "So what? I paid 60K (Can$) for it. I expect it to work."
Dealers can keep telling themselves that these types of problems are to be expected with a new model. This is why VW/Audi ranks at the bottom of the J.D. Power and Assoc. customer satisfaction ratings. This is my fourth and final VW/Audi. Never again.
THis is what I don't understand about Audi and VW. They have fantastic interiors and other features that are class leading and scream quality. But the cars themselves are junk.
I would love to buy a new GTI, but I am afraid of it spending all the time at the dealership. My friend's A3, an amazing car, already has little creaks and groans about it, although he has had no major problems that required a dealer visit.
People need to learn that money does not equal quality or even customer service/support.
