"Seems to be GREAT otherwise!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I am having a HORN problem as well on my 2004 Saturn VUE; after pushing the horn one night, the horn stuck and would not release... needed to pull the fuse... the service tech explained that the suction cup beneath the air bag panel on the steering pad is damaged...and that triggers the horn and the whole air bag assembly unit must be replaced to the tune of $946.00...the service manager tells me it is not covered under the warranty that is listed on my card...

General comments?

I made sure I purchased the extended warranty in addition to the 6 mos/60000 miles warranty from the dealership upon purchasing this car and now the dealership tells me the salesman sold me just the POWERTRAIN plus warranty. What's my next step? The salesman crunched a few numbers that day that I bought this used vehicle and he is no longer with the dealership! How should I proceed... any suggestions would be helpful... as I don't want to drive w/o a HORN!

Blessings,

pat.

They do sell an after-market horn for cheap money. If you're the type that's always on the horn, this isn't for you. It looks kinda like a plastic button that you mount on the dash, not the steering wheel. I knew a few people who had great success with them. If you don't use the horn that often, and maybe just want to get through inspection, this is for you. Last time I put one in the price was about $10. Check JC whitney on line see what's available. A grand for a horn seems kind of steep.
