Front brakes went bad at 105,000.
Power break Master Cylinder went at 110,000.
Timing belt broke at 155,000.
Rear drum brake rubber seals went bad and cylinder ruptured at about 156,000.
Both front bearings went bad at around 157,000.
Fuel Pump failed at 160,000.
Maybe I forgot one or two more things after 150,000.
Last Year this car cost me 1700$ to fix between 150,000 and 160,000 miles. And I did the brakes myself. So that is bad.
It is spacious, the engine goes up to 120 mph max speed, not too many problems until the 150's. It went 15000 miles without an oil change back at 90,000 miles and the engine seems fine.
It cost you $1700 to fix last year. How much would you have spent on your car, total, if you had a car payment instead? $1700 in a year for repairs is a lot cheaper than car payments, not to mention what you're saving on insurance by driving an older car, so it's not all bad!
If you take care of your car, then you won't have all those problems. I have the same car and I just hit 250,000 miles with no high maintenance, just oil change and brake change.
