I am very impressed with the SRT 4. I have owned a WRX and my last car was 2005 Mustang GT, of the 3 I am most impressed with the SRT 4. The mustang was easilly the best looking and felt like a muscle car, The WRX was great but nothing to impressive other then handling. The SRT 4 was amazing for the price and with low cost can easilly upgrade and blow the WRX and the mustang out of the water. For those who disagree you have never driven all 3 cars or you just dont know what you are talking about.
I posted some questions/comments on another post and I doubt there going to be answered there, so I'll ask again here since it's the most recent.
First of all, congrats on your purchase and thanks for the brief, but helpful remarks about the SRT-4. I'm in high school and considering purchasing a used 2004 SRT-4. Unfortunately, SRT-4's weren't too popular where I live when they came out, so there are few used ones around. (I managed to find a few 2004's in classifieds, online, etc.)
You favored the SRT-4 over the WRX and Mustang GT, but how would you rate it as an everyday driver? Other than the poor fuel economy, of course.
The 2004's I found used are selling from $15K-$17K, having under 30K miles on all of them... is this too much for what the SRT-4 is? People here have commented that they require constant maintenance after like 60K miles. Is it worth spending the money? (In your opinion)
Thanks.
SRT-4 is the biggest bang for your buck!!! However I wouldn't recommend driving it in areas that typically get a lot of snow.
