Two spark plug cables had to be replaced. The tyre sensors played up and to be reset several times. A fuel relay switch caused problems, the car had to be recovered twice before the problem was solved. It took two weeks to repair it. The passengers window would, not go up or down. The alternator had to be replaced. The key card started to give problems. At the moment I am having problems with the on board computer, i have to keep entering the radio code every time i start the car. And finally sometimes when i am driving and i switch the headlights from dim to full the car died and all the lights, on the dash board lights up for about two seconds and then disappears. I would like to hear from anybody else who has expeirenced the last problem.
Apart from all the problems I have had the car is a joy to drive. Very comfortable especially over long journeys. I think the interior is well lay,ed out with plenty of extras to play around with. On fuel consumption it's a bit heavy around town, but ok on the open road.
I agree with you about the unreliability. I've had my Laguna for 2 years and hate it. The only reason I'm holding onto it is because its hard to sell on. In relation to the lights and the car stopping, etc. It happened to me a few times and I think its to do with the faulty key card as it only happens to me when I'm using my faulty card. check it out!!!
