Check engine lights won't go off. Took it to the dealer who charged me $500.00, came home lights went back on and the dealership still wants to charge me more money. After 4 times of taking it to the dealer, my car won't even start normally. It takes up to 20 seconds to start the car on the fourth or fifth time. Called Nissa Headquarters and all they tell me is that nobody else is complaining and they won't do anything about it to fix the problem.
The only good thing about this car is that its roomy. That's why I got it. If I would have known that if would be like this, I would have NEVER purchased this car.
Nissan of America lied. First of all, because I had numerous complaints to Nissan of America about the same problem.
This car is an 04 Altima. We had the same problem after the first six months of purchase. This has been to the dealership so many times in 07 and they could not fix that problem.
The check engine light stays on, and it drives crappy and burns a lot of gas.
The dealer replaced the crank sensor, fuel map sensor, O2 sensors, shift solenoid sensor, reprogram ECU and still did not fix this problem. I have spent a lot of money.
Here I am in 08 and still the same, and now I was told that my catalytic converter and O2 sensor is bad and need to be changed. I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. This has been a problem from the beginning. Could someone offer some advice?
I have a 2004 Nissan Altima. It stalls while I'm driving. I had it checked out; the diagnostics read that it was my crank sensor.. I had it replaced and it is still doing the same thing. Sometimes it takes at least 20 times to get it to start.. Does anyone know what it could be?
