Nothing.
Solid Car. A cousin to the Magnum and 300... All new design for late 2004/Present. RWD/TC. Shared power trains. Excellent parts availability.
Crisp acceleration.
Five link rear suspension and fully independent.
Five speed tiptronic.
A luxury to drive.
2.5 inches longer than the Magnum - identical wheelbase. Styling makes it look shorter and wider.
Four wheel large disks and 17 inch wheels on a performance sedan? Sweet.
Why is your evaluation 'neutral' if the car is so great?
THe "neutral" rating is based solely on whether you'd buy another car from the same manufacturer and not an accurate reflection of the review. In this case the reviewer put "don't know" hence the neutral rating...
I have not had the car for 10 years yet. If the car stands the test of time I would surely buy another... If the company is still Daimler-Chrysler.
Looks good and handles well for a sedan. Roomy interior and a nice choice of power trains...
If you guys like mopar, you should read the Diplomat reviews. You will get a kick out of those.
Dodge should bring back the diplomat or fury as a base car using the LX platform (independent front and rear suspension with RWD) with 2 doors and air conditioning only. Nothing else should be power. Not even the brakes or the steering.
Basic, Basic, Basic... but with lots of power.
It should only come one way for 20k - stripped SRT8 Diplomat/Fury that looks like a classic challenger or charger with lots of guts.
That would be nice, don't you think?
That stripped down Charger idea is never going to happen. Sure, bring back the Fury, but a stripped down to bare bones muscle car will never happen again. It will never sell without power-steering and a heater. Maybe manual windows. You have to be able to appeal to the American buyer. People want muscle along with comfort. That car would just be a royal pain, and a waste of money.
Air conditioning would include a heater for the northern climates.
You wouldn't be interested in a stripped rocket for the weekends? Look out Mustang... it sounds like the Challenger is coming.
I would never buy this car again. There are too may blind spots in this car. When you are at a traffic light, the windshield is so low, that I have to turn my head or scrunch down to see when the light turns green.
I drive a 2007 dodge charger, and I love it, I just wanted to say yes it has a lot of blind spots, but its to be expected for such a huge car, just 1 more thing... learn to use your mirrors.
