2007 Vauxhall Corsa SXI A/C from UK and Ireland - Comments

The car was recalled last month with fears of faulty front lower arm, causing the driver to loose control of the car.

There is often a dull annoying vibration coming from behind the dash, although it does not happen all the time, and is very quiet, this needs looking at.

This car is a vast improvement on the old model, the optional 17" alloy upgrade and the Air Con were well worth the extra money.

It handles how a sporty little car should handle, the old model did not handle as well as this.

It drives well and feels solid. With very little road noise.

The interior finish is of a much higher quality than the old car. Many things similar to the new Astra.

Overall I am very happy with the car and look forward too many more miles of happy, trouble free motoring.

I have had nothing, but trouble with my 1.2 Corsa SXI A/C, it was recalled last month because of the control arms which is fair enough, but it has been in and out of the garage since I bought it.

1. Recall - Vauxhall had the vehicle for over a week as they didn't have the parts to do the repair and they wouldn't let me take the car.

2. Creaking noise coming from the rear suspension - Vauxhall replaced the rear suspension (creak still there) - Vauxhall had vehicle for 3 days.

3. Problems with fuel consumption vehicle does 250miles on a full tank (£40 tank) & this is all motorway driving. - Vauxhall reset engine management system) - vauxhall has vehicle for 2 days.

4. Creaking noise still there, body panels stripped from the car and re-attached (problem still there). - vauxhall had vehicle for 2 days.

5. Still having same trouble with the fuel consumption - vaxhall had vehicle for 3 days.

6. Motor broke on the passenger window, so it squeels.

7. Creak is still there its in the garage as we speak.

So I don't recommend that anyone buys the New corsa, they are nothing, but trouble!

I've brought the new style corsa club 1.2. drives like a dream and I've had absolutely no problems. sounds like this guy just happened to get a dud.

I have a 1.2,3 door design model and am getting a vibration/rattle for behind the dash, has anyone had this and got it sorted?my dealer can't hear it!

I have a corsa c sxi 05 and I had a brand new dash put in but I also hear the dash making noises my dealer has also said that he can't hear the noises but I know that they are there.

Hi I have a sxi 1.4 on a 07 3 door as been good up to now I have had lots of makers extra add but over the last few weeks I have had lots off noise from rattles on the sides and the back ask garage they said that it sounds like lose panels ha ha.
