Yes, well there's a big difference between a Corolla and a VN SS. I know which I'd prefer and it isn't the Corolla. Each to their own I suppose.

The Buick V6 is a old engine and a coarse engine on idle, especially the early ones, so unless your harmonic balancer or engine mount is stuffed, then there ain't much you can do about the rough idle except buy a newer engine, as Holden did a lot of work to smooth the later engines out. (just put up with the lumpy idle, it sounds nice)

I have a vn group A they where the last of the factory race cars put on the street, now it is the other way round yes they where a bit crude and they rattle and bang around a bit but they are an absolute adrenalin rush to drive and I get a big smile on my face every time I drive the car the vn really performs well on our track days just what they where really made for!!These cars are a bit under priced at the moment so grab one while you can you won't regret it.
