Hey there I have a pretty much stock vl with extractors I own 4 vl's now and I'm trying to come up with a great vl using all my parts. I re-sprayed it black with a red pearl, but it has no power please!! Every ones car sounds great. I am only 16, but I love the 87 VL Commodore, and can't wait to own one, but what type of motor should I have for max speed and power?

Well, if you fall under the new p-plate law, you can get only the 3 litre(non-turbo), because p-platers can't drive V8 or turbo.

If there are any people from Melbourne Australia who know about the mods to a VL Commodore. i.e chiptorque hp3 and cam to suit, and the whereabouts in Melbourne eastern suburbs I could get these mods done, I would be really grateful.
