Okay really I love this page, cuz I have a GS-T which is a pony killer up to 2005 (that my girl drives and beats the ponies) with little work...

But let's seriously get real and talk about a mans car that is called a 2002 Camaro SS... 345 hp off the lot, you can check, and then with nothing more than intake and exhaust I'm running a 13.2???

Oh and that's without the nitrous... SUBARU??? LMAO!!! That 4banger is a joke... You shoulda got an Evo... But yeah I play both sides of the spectrum, but it's sweet when a person won't race me and I tell them okay fine race my girl... and she smokes them??? That's even better than me ripping up the pavement!!!

Mitsu's are the best bang for your buck, and the Maro's... Oh BTW I run an 11.9 on street tires with no headers or internals... What's up???

I work at a used car lot and have drove everything under the sun. This may be off topic, but I don't care.

Any V6 Mustang 04 and under will be slaughtered by GS-T or GS-X Eclipse. However, the GT will barely, now I say barely beat a turbo Eclipse. I know my facts, I've owned 2 different GS-T's that I love. But if you want to get into some new Mustangs, then V6 Mustangs come stock with 210 horse and can't remember torque " keep in mind horse is close, but stangs weigh a lot more than the gs-t's". but they're quick and a race between them would depend on the driver some of the time in a 1/4 mile.

But like before, the new GT's are monsters in a 1/4. Yeah they're heavy, but all the horsepower is hard to stop when its 50% more than what were pushing bone stock. So you turbo pumpers like myself, spend about 2 grand on your Eclipse and it will be hard to beat by anything stock in your town besides something like a Cobra, but that's just a heavily modded Mustang. You can't go by what someone says if they haven't driven both cars. it all depends on the driver and what they are driving.

A sucky driver in a new GT can't beat a awesome driver in a great condition stock Eclipse in a 1/4. but put an awesome driver in both, then the new stock GT will win every time.

Sorry for you guys that drive the pony stangs they're just a lil too slow I'm afraid. Not enough horse for the weight you're pulling. Try a weigh reduction then come back.

P.S. If you're in a automatic tranny, then just go home against anything else that's a manual shift. Learn from your mistakes .. cough cough..

A built auto can stay in the boost and beat a manual car that has to shift!!

Bought a 93 Z28 Camaro straight out of hs for 2000$. BONE STOCK. Had a lot of miles on it, but it ran great. My buddy bought a 98 eclipse for 3500$, sank a 2000$ turbo kit into it with all kinds of bells and whistles while I sat back and laughed. I smoked him every time. Off the line, at a roll, and hell admit it. 2000$ total for me, 5500$ total for him. moral of the story is THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT.

OK, I own a 95 GS-T. I bought it over three months ago, and before that I had a 2000 Mustang GT, and I have to say that the Mustang is quicker from a stop than a STOCK GS-T, but for the same money the GS-T will be faster, and as an added bonus I must say the GS-R's handling is just wonderful; it carves corners, and the braking power is good, something that the Mustang lacks big time. Let's face it, a school bus full of kids can turn and brake better than a Mustang.

In circuit driving here in Puerto Rico, I had my stang with 400 hp, and I got beat everytime on a circuit by cars with half the horsepower. Even lent it to a professional driver to see how he could do, and still he got beat.

If you want straight line acceleration, the stang is better, but you want to actually turn, the GS-T will beat the stang every day.

ps. The stang here is classified as one of the worst handling sport cars in the streets, and in relation to before the Camaro is 10000000 times better than the stang in everything. I think that in economy too LOL.
