Called t/c... n 2 phatt tyres compensate pretty well. supercharged ls2 with decent engine modes will leave all, but a few high tuned ricers.

"Id love to see yas try and keep up with say a GTR, STI or EVO in the wet or round corners!

The truth hurts, but RWD will neva compete with all paw grip."

Obviously that's why ferraris and most big power supercars can't take corners then huh? Considering taking a corner at speed in an Sti etc would lead to massive understeer followed by a nasty meeting with a tree. Seriously, who races in the wet anyway?

Well said!, 4wd does have good uses like a fast set off in wet conditions, rally cars as rwd would be useless against the modern group a stuff that all has 4wd.

But, Rwd are all used in most supercars (not all) porsche 911 turbo and veyron, lamborghini etc.

However the best handling cars int he world are usually mid engined and rwd. this is because the weight balance is perfect and there is no nasty fwd understeer to speak of.

Mid engined cars with a fair lick of power will always rule a real race track.

F1 cars which are the fastest track car in the world are also of the mid engined rwd variety so it just goes to show that maybe physics do play a part in a good handling car.

And 4wd evo's etc. do handle well, but there will always be that nasty understeer to contend with on certain bends which will slow you down.

I used to think these little 4 cylinder turbos were king, but after going in a 340Kw (at the real wheels) kingswood monaro changed my mind, seeing it only had a 5.0L 308 non supercharged in it. I would like to see a WRX or EVO even cum close without there little whistle blowing turbo's...just get it through your heads guys and stop denying the facts, that there is no substitute for cubic inches!

Case closed.

Comparing evos, rexs and gtrs to clubsports ain't right at all; completely different cars in every way, and they aren't in competition.

As far as I'm concerned, a Clubsport or GT is just a family car with a big motor, and would have no chance on a race track! However that's OK coz imports are designed for this.

The only cars worth defending in this situation would be the best of both worlds, a well balanced sports coupe with the cubes of an LS2. Throw in a couple of turbos and nothing's going to touch it. No point arguing what's better, just take all the good ingredients from both and then you're untouchable!!!

I always take on STIs, VR4s, mainly Subbies and Mitsu's!!

I own a 2003 HSV 5.7L Holden Senator V8, I have worked on Take off Techniques and have mastered taking on a other 4WD cars, I leave them hanging:) its really buzzy for them to take on these Big engined cars!!lol.
