I have an 94 Grand Prix GTP bought it in 01 with 52,350 miles, and it has 72500 now.

I'm in a wheelchair and it is one bad puppy when ya put the gas to the floor. With V6's like this, there's no need for a V8, the 3.4 24valve is almost as good as the 77 GP with a 350, but the GP was a boat.

I have the same problem with the idle, but after it is warm it is no problem, and I have had a gasket put in and a water pump.

My bud has an 99, but I like this style. The only thing is I will have to let it go, it is getting way too hard to get in and out, and put my chair in and take it out, gonna be a Caravan Man now, and will miss the sport car spin.

At 13 it is just primed and everything still works great, except the armrest - it was open and I turned around and hit the top and it broke off, drop a line if you are looking 1.adb@intrstar.net

We have just bought a 95 Grand Prix SE coupe for our daughter. She loves it, but the tranny occasionally goes into neutral when you come to a stop.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Is it the transmission or something else?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi, I own a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE and theres just one thing that the car needs. I really don'y like the glass that replaces the grille in the front, I was wondering if there was a way that I could replace that with something different looking, If there is then what are my options. Thanks in advance.

I also have 1995 Grand Prix GTP with an idle problem. Had the PCM module replaced, O2 sensor, crankshaft sensor. It got to the point where it won't even run or start. At 160000 km an intake gasket was replaced at 82000 km. Need help.

I have a 1995 Pontiac grand prix special edition 2dr coupe, with the white appearance package. It has the 3.4 L DOHC V6. Is this the GTP? I've been trying to research my car but I can't really find much info on the net. I feel like my car is the GTP just doesn't have the letters on the back... Sorry I'm not very knowledgeable I just wanted to know what features the GTP has so I could tell if that's what I have. I really love my car. I bought it without realizing that it went through Katrina, so it needs lots of TLC, but I'm going to fix it up :)

I have a 1995 Grand Prix GTP. Started out with idle problem 1000 - 4000, then start sputter and shut off take about 2-6 tries to get it to run after new timing belt, intake gasket, O2 sensor, camshaft sensor, throttle body sensor, new plugs and numerous hours in the shop. 5000.00 later still hard to get going; floods when you first try to start it, and no one seems to know the problem. Need help.

I have a 1995 grand prix 4d sedan, and I love my car. It's up to 221,000 miles and still kicks butt. This is a great car to hang on to. My blinkers give me a tough time, and it's not the fuse. Also, my outside door handle on my passengers door finally broke, but this car still has quite the get-up-and-go.

Like everyone else, I just purchased a '95 Grand Prix 2 door. Also like everyone else, I love it. The only thing I don't like is that they started making after market parts for the new '97 body style. It's nearly impossible to find anything for this car for fine tuning. I wanted to replace the tail light cover just because I didn't like the black line pattern. I also wanted to know if any of you know where I could find a GTP engine. I tried the local junk yards and they have nothing. So any info would help.
