I just bought a '97 Z28 30th anniversary. It already had some modifications to the engine. Now it's more like a death trap. I have some trouble with the T-tops leaking and my check engine light is on also, but I haven't had the code read yet. It's cherry red and has 76000 on the LT-1 engine. I gave 7000 for it. For now, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I own a 1996 Camaro RS. I love the car, the only problems like ya said was me scraping against the ground once in awhile and I had to replace the coil pack. I'v got one question though, my transmission is going bad. The transmission fluid is burning (I can smell it) and it seems it takes a harder time changing the gears. (automatic transmission). I have priced the problem with being fixed for $1200. I would just like to know if it's worth it because I really only plan on having the camaro for one more year until I buy a new one... would it last one more year? My e-mail is joshua44320@msn.com, I would appreciate anybody's advice. Other than that though the camaro is great and I am excited about the new 2005 camaro coming out.

I just traded a 1000 dollar 1980 Honda Rebel motorcycle, for a 1997 metallic emerald green Camaro RS 30th anniversary in mint condition.

Don't ask how or why, but it has the real low ground effects in the front t-tops, fin, Yokohoma 225/55 zr16, 12 disk changer. It's honestly one of the nicest looking Camaros I have ever seen, and I look at `em all...

Think your maro is sweet? Check out some pics of my baby. I just had a new engine installed 4200.00 from the power exchange in jax Fl. It has 741 miles on it when I parked it tonight :) love it..

The oil sending unit failed and I guess fried the engine. Dunno, not a mechanic, but it did cost me. No other problems to speak of, no leaks, I did notice that because of the design of the windows without an upper frame, the windows will rock and break the roller which supports the window.

To prevent this, make sure the window is rolled all the way up or down when closing the door. This way the window won't rock.

I had to go with the stock 3.8L V6. I would have had to change the whole computer system in order to upgrade to the B8. But, hell... I can't complain, like I said I got the car for a beat up motorcycle. Anywho... eat your heart out, go check out the pics and see this jewel for yourself.
