I just bought a 2001 Daewoo Leganza SE last week. It has just over 60k on it. I researched it on Kelly Blue-book on line and it had a very favorable 4+ out of 5 rating. So far I'm pleased with it. Kind of a dog off the line, but I also just discovered the "Power" button on the side of the shift lever and it seems to give it quite a boost. One problem, and hopefully not a big one, is that I tried to smog it yesterday and it would not synch (interface) with the computer at the smog place. Gonna try another place today.

I had a Daewoo Laganza from July of 2000 to October 2007. The car made it through myself drove it to 110,000 and three of my four children. While it was not a Rolls it did the job with few problems. Just changed the oil and the tires.

Sorry for those of you that had problems; mine was a great car and it just needed to be put down at 135,000. Good luck and have a good day.

In year 2006 December I bought 2000 Daewoo Leganza with 100k mileage on it.

I changed tires, shocks, brakes because I have information that the car had sat idle for some long time with the previous owner. But it has very comfortable driving.

Recently at 113km, suddenly the engine was stopped, and I found the timing belt was broken, and realized that previous owner hadn't changed it. It cost me $2000 to replace the timing, pulleys, water pump and valve job. My mechanic took almost a month to get the parts and complete the job. Now it is running great. You can get the parts online. http://www.daewoous.com.

I love the car with comfort, luxury, mileage and engine power, but it needs to be maintained well like every other car.
