1981 Holden Commodore VH from Australia and New Zealand - Comments

I've owned a VH 4.2 V8 and if they are well maintained & not too thrashed, they are not bad at all on fuel, no worse than an old kingswood with a 202, I've found anyway. If your that worried, get a good LPG conversion fit to it.

As for the guy on about the StarFire 4cyl, only thing they are good for are the conrods to hot up a 6 with. They are rather worked pushing the early commy's around, and I don't know how anyone can put up with their lack of power in comparison to their fuel consumption.
