im from australia and am still in love with my 156 2.0 ts selespeed - have a read of the comments on 2000 spider that are happening we have nissan fan not liking us...

Just stumbled across this thread and my sides are splitting, to the guy whom thinks the 156 is plain ugly junk, you are indeed a star sir, no seriously many thanks for your comments, they made our day!
As a businessman with my own cars sales of many years standing I can tell you that the 156 is one of the easiest cars to sell that we buy in, a good well maintained 156, in all variants, gearboxes and engine sizes etc are good for us and our customers as we rarely see them again except when they want another car, our only trouble is getting enough decent ones to offer...
...also the customers are like Jag' our guys, they are buying something different, are knowledgeable, like something that someone with a passion for driving has designed and are generally nice people to do business with.
...wish I could say the same about the BMW, Merc's and Lexus that we have sitting around our site losing money!
