Love my Lil Geo, mine only has 55k on it and it's a 93. It really has an engine knock; is this common for a three cylinder? My top does the same thing; have to let it warm up and I am in Wisconsin.

What a great little car; mine's pink.

I have a little 91 Geo Metro Convertible.. This car is great! The only thing that is bad with mine is that it has rust on it, but I live in Michigan and I drove all winter long.

I've had this car for almost four years now... and I love it, I never want to drive another car! Me and my dad put a 92 engine in it, and it worked out great; my car has no knocks, it is very quiet.

I have a 91 Geo metro convertible-automatic. The guy that sold it to me said that he was getting 40mpg. I have never gotten anything over 30--which is better than my other car, but I would like to get 40. We have had it completely checked over and repaired where needed--the points, plugs and wires are fine. I read over and over that people are getting 40-50 mpg with their automatic Geos--anyone have any insight on what might be going on with mine? Also, I need new tires but have found out that they don't make the p165/65/r13 anymore. What size will work?

Thanks!

I've owned a '92 Lsi convertible for about a year now. It's a great little car that gets me 46 city mpg, a major benefit with the price of gas over $4.00/gal. It's easy to throw the top up and down and is roomy for such a tiny car since there are only two seats. With a 5-speed transmission it is a blast to drive. My one and only (small) problem is that I don't like to push it past 55 mph (which equates to about 3,000 rpm's). Could have used a 6th gear ;-). I'm going to baby this car so that I'll be able to own it my entire life, and enjoy many more summers bombing around on back roads with the top down.

I just purchased a '92 Metro convertible last month! Replaced the top and just love driving around with the top down. I too though, need to find the weather seals for between the top and the windows. Mine are the originals and leak. Please contact me at ropers_grl@yahoo.com if you know where I can find them.

Thanks!

I too have a 1991 Geo Metro Convertible and am in need of the rubber seals between the top of the windows and the soft top. I would appreciate any information where I can purchase these. my e-mail: ccravens@centurytel.net.
