I to am a victim of the 1999 dodge intrepid epidemic.

My Dodge engine died at 60,000 miles and after repairs

died again 1,000 miles later. It cost 3,000 to get another engine and I still owe 6,000 to the finance company.

I've been had. Nervous as ever, not knowing if it will die again. Never again Chrysler!!

I am also the victim of the 1999 Intrepid. I bought it used within the warranty (original), and at about 70,000 miles my engine oil light started coming on. I was very good about getting my oil changed frequently, it was just a defect that no one will man up to. I also called Michigan to get results and to no avail. My car sat up for two years costing me thousands of dollars for payments and parking tickets.

Hello,

I am 19 years old and just bought a 2000 dodge Intrepid when I bought it it had 76000 miles on it. It now has 82000 miles on it 5 months later. I am really hoping the engine is not going to blow on me. I have a warranty until nexy may for the powertrain 1 yr I was just wondering what I should do before my car blows up!!!

I have 1999 dodge intrepid. It ran fine for 3 years then speed sensor went out. had to replace motor at 10000.00 miles now it is jumping at times and no one knows why and they can't check it until check engine light comes on. this car has cost a lot of money and still owe in it. Dodge needs to recall these cars. I have replaced water pump, fuel pump, motor, timing belt, and everything.
