To the Z34 owners with the high idle problems. I had the same thing happen to my 93. I would check all your vacuum lines, not just the rubber lines, but the plastic tubing also. I had a cracked plastic line that drove me nuts until I found it. I also had the same problem in my other Chevy, a broken plastic line that caused an idle problem.

I am having a problem replacing the timing belt on my 93 Chevy Lumina. I can't seem to get the bolt out of the pulley. Any suggestions?

I have a 1992 Lumina Z34 automatic that has problems shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear. Other owners of Z34s have suggested to change the shift solenoids. So before I do so I wanted to know if there is anyone who has replaced this before or is there anything else I should check before changing this. The Car starts and idles perfect. I found a Vacuum line that was broken and I fixed it which was located near the battery, I'm not sure if this could be the problem because I do not drive this car in the winter.
