I also have a 96 powerstoke it is the best truck I have ever owned, It has always started in the cold I mean cold like -40c

sure It has to get plugged in at these temps, but any vehical should be, It is a diesel and white smoke and all the rest of it is normal. I see so many complaints about cold starting with these engines If it is ran like stated in the owners manual you will have no problems.

A diesel is a diesel stinky and smokey when cold.

I also run a 1996 f250 PSD, bought it with 81000 miles, vibration at 80 mph, now 222330 miles, vibrates at hi & low speeds, had driveshaft checked, very little problem, axle bearings new, otherwise great truck, trying to figure it out, any help?
