My Toyota Camry was stolen 3 weeks ago and I have been driving a 2006 Sonata rental. My husband and I drove a 2006 Sonata rental on our honeymoon in May and although I really like the look and drive of the car, I noticed that when I step on the gas, it "jumps" forward. I've had other cars with transmission problems and this just feels different. I have been considering buying a Sonata, but seeing all the negative reviews, I'm not so sure now. Does anyone have any positive feedback or would you seriously tell me not to even consider buying one?
OK, the 95' Sonata is truly NOT well worth it.
THANKFULLY I bought mine for $1,000 used.
I LOVED it at first, but after hmm about 2 months of having it, I did not get anything BUT problems.
The first thing that popped up was my windows and doors broke besides the driver door.
NONE of my windows would roll anymore, and the door handles completely crumbled into dust, like seriously.
2. My alternator went out and this is after about 5 months of having it.
3. It was always jerking or changing gears.
4. I ALWAYS got a dent from the smallest thing.
5. Finally after 7 months of having it, my wheel axles froze and I got in a car accident, and my car went out of control and now it's totaled.
