2004 Highlander V6; Is anyone in toyota land having problems with AC? Leaking water inside the cabin??
I have the same problem. It began quite insidiously and now there is almost flood like proportions even to the base of the rear seats. It was however very peculiar, the problem began right after I declined having the "cabin filter" replaced during that service visit.

2004 Highlander leaking water when AC is running. Drivers side and Passenger side leaking water on the floor mat. I checked cabin filter, which was not dirty or clogged, I knocked out some dust and reused same filter. I think a drain tube is blocked, but not sure where it is.. any help would be appreciated.
I had the same problem with AC water leaking and my mechanic put the car up on the hoist and blew air thru the exhaust tube which released about a gallon of water. Anyone know a permanent solution or another way to release the water?
Apparently leaves and dirt accumulated in the chamber and blocked the release of water.
I have a 2003 Highlander.
One day when I was driving it, I noticed that there was water on the floor, but there seem to be a lot more water on the passenger side. I checked all around to see if I left the windows down, but I didn't. I don't know where it's coming from. Does anyone know what it could be?
I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander (V6). One day last March/April I got in the car and ended up with very wet shoes. There was so much water on the floor I could hear it sloshing when I stopped and started at stop lights. It was on both the front driver and passenger side floors, under the seats and on the rear (floor both sides). I used a wet vac to get it out and that was that.
This year, just this past weekend the water appeared again (overnight) and it was all over just like last year. Last year was the first time I ever had the problem. It's too early to use the AC and my windows have been securely closed. The water is clean and clear. Any ideas?
