Would like to add that this is clearly a US review. I've ordered my 612 last year and have to say that you do get a lot of customized options from Maranello here in Europe. some of them are: Full Navigation, Dolby Surround, heated seats, Sport seats, comfort seats, parking Camera front and back and much more. I wonder if they now also deliver the HTGS pack in the America’s. And I do have to agree it is a very good and reliable car (as Ferrari, does not have a good track record). I use it almost every day and still only had minor failures.
The 612 is a wonderful machine. It took me a while to warm up to the transmission; it shifts HARD, although that's reasonable for the type of car this is. The Bose system sounds fantastic, and I like the Bluetooth pairing feature. The engine is just amazing in terms of both sound and performance. It makes this fantastic "rrrrrroaAAHH" at full throttle. The rear tires hook up so well you'd swear it's all wheel drive (it's not). If you need a family car and have to have a Ferrari this would be your only choice. :-) Even the trunk space is impressive. But my favorite aspects of the car? The G forces and the engine sound.
