Faults:

Replaced the transmission sensors (around $60 total) at around 110000 miles.

Had brakes replaced around 150000, and no other problems.

Replaced head liner at 175000.

General Comments:

Very little has gone wrong. LOVE the ride and comfort. I have had almost NO problems. Amazingly the original tranny still going, and engine leaks little to no oil. Using pure synthetic oil in the engine, and changing it every 10000 miles. This van has more usable space than my Suburban had. I do miss the trailer hauling capacity, but otherwise I would choose this van. Love the quad seating since have four boys, all over 6 foot tall.

Averaging 22mpg hwy and 19mpg city with this new alcohol laden fuel (was about 5mpg better before ethanol). This van gets same or better mileage than others I have or found, and T&C has best comfort over all of them.

I would choose this T&C over any other van I have owned or seen.

Faults:

Third set of front rotors.

A/C has refrigerant leak.

Emergency brake froze up at about 40000 miles on car.

Solenoid pack on transmission at about 55000 miles.

Battery at 55000 miles.

A few front end parts the last two years.

Tension pulleys for serpentine belt (belt was falling off in inclimate weather).

General Comments:

Overall we are happy with the car. Pretty much normal as far as wear and tear. We have 4 kids and it has worked out good for us.

Feel that it was overpriced at the time.

Faults:

Exhaust crossover pipe at 100K.

Water pump at 135K.

Outer tie rod at 170K.

General Comments:

This van has been very reliable and useful for our family. Van is quiet, has decent mileage for a 7 passenger, and has never failed.

I have read other reviews for this van and am surprised. I have done two tune ups, and done the transmission fluid twice. My air still works great, along with all the electrical. We purchased it at the auction from a rental company and almost have around 90k of trouble free miles.

We will be getting rid of it soon but I think it would last much longer.

For a minivan, it handles well and looks good. The seats are like new. The van has been registered in Minnesota, California, Colorado, and Wisconsin as we have moved around. It was underpowered for the mountains in CO.

Faults:

Seats have started to crack where they have been placed.

The starter broke, had to replace it.

There was one problem with the ignition switch, we had it towed to the dealer. Fixed it for about $100.

General Comments:

This has been a very reliable car for us with 192000 miles on it. We have had very little problems with our Chrysler. The car is very top heavy and the wheels shake when it is driven above 60 but that is expected. We haven't had any flat tires, no changing of tires or any major problems. The seats are fairly comfortable, but they are slowly breaking.

Overall I am very pleased with this car and I would buy another car from Chrysler.

Faults:

Condenser, driver side window, speedometer, sway- bar bushings and links, water pump, dash board lights, A/C

The driver side window motor stops working now and then. The window will not go up or down when the motor is out.

The sway-bar bushings and links were repaired three months ago for over $700.

Now the A/C is not working. The air on the passenger side is cool, but the driver side is warm or like the outside temperature, and they say that it will be over $900 to repair!!! That doesn't even include the window and the dash board light!

Our Mitsubishi is 12 years old and runs like it's 5 years old. It doesn't even have any rust and isn't in need of any major repairs. Sorry to say that I won't buy an American car again.

General Comments:

Disappointed with all the expensive repairs that our 1995 Galant has not needed, even at 117,000 miles.
