2012 Ford Fusion Sport 3.5L V6

Summary:

Very quick yet comfortable car

Faults:

My only issue with quality has been the SYNC system. Initially it wouldn't recognize my USB thumb drive, with my MP3 collection on it. Once the dealership rebooted the system, it worked.

The voice commands usually work well, but when the system can't recognize a word, it starts to guess; this can get quite frustrating at times.

In a nutshell, SYNC is from Microsoft. When it works it's awesome, when it doesn't, think blue screen of death in your car! LOL.

General Comments:

Ordered this car from the dealership, and it took a long time to get here; parts shortages due to the Japan crisis caused production delays. When it finally arrived, I was a little shocked to see 36 miles already on the odometer, as there is no way the dealership put that on the car during prep. Was told that the car was probably driven around the various lots it stopped at during its shipment from Mexico. Although I don't doubt that, I think "joyriding" would be a better term; I'm a little annoyed that Ford lets their lackeys do that to brand new cars during shipment.

I'm very impressed by the build quality of the car. Ride and handling are superb, one of the main reasons I purchased one. It takes nothing to get this car up to a 100MPH, and once there, it only feels like you're doing 55!

The Tri-Coat White exterior that I got it in is actually a much nicer color than expected. The Sport package adds a couple of nice body accents, and some sweet rims, that make this modest sedan quite sharp. The white stitch accents on the interior leather also add a nice touch of class.

Overall I'm very happy with this car. It's a nice family sedan, with a Sport package that makes it a lot of fun to drive, yet still quite comfortable. Have actually gotten many compliments on.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I find it ironic that you are "annoyed" about Ford letting "their lackeys" joyride "in brand new cars during shipment". Yet you've apparently driven in at 100MPH, which unless you are taking your new Fusion to a track, seems quite illegal, not to mention dangerous (please stay off any roads my family or friends may be traveling on).

No offense intended, but for safety's sake slow down.
