2016 Lexus ES 350 3.5 6 cylinder

Summary:

Very comfortable, but a little numb to things

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Easily the most comfy, stylish ride in my 51 years. To be frank, it's too quiet. This is a somewhat unfair complaint as I researched "quietest car" on Google when I was contemplating a new ride and this car was always at or near the top of this category. With that said, you might feel a bit detached from the outside world as you tool around in this thing; it's very isolating. Be mindful of this. Further, if you don't mind being bombarded by on-board computer messages, bells, whistles, warnings, emails, and every other form of electronic gee-whiz doo-dad known to mankind, by all means acquire this vehicle. I've learned to live with, and mostly ignore this daily onslaught of electronica, but it's irritating.

I went from a CVT transmission that was butter-smooth in an Accord to what honestly feels like a cheap Corolla auto in this car. Baffling for a 48k vehicle.

Cruise along the highways of life in this baby at say 75 mph and you feel like you could drive forever. Leave said highway and get on a twisty and you will never, ever mistake this thing for a BMW or Audi. Just avoid "spirited" driving.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Interesting comment about the transmission. What problems are you experiencing?
