2004 Mazda 6 Sport wagon 3.0

Summary:

Mazda hit it with this one

Faults:

No worries so far, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

General Comments:

I've really enjoyed this car so far. Handles great and looks sharp. Exceptional in terms of cargo room.

Got a ride of an SUV because of gas issues, haven't really found that the 6 is much of an improvement in the city, but definitely better on the highway. Traction control and ABS is great for Canadian winters...even without proper snow tires.

2004 Mazda 6 S sedan 3.0L V6

Summary:

I love my Mazda 6s sedan

Faults:

So far nothing has gone wrong in my Mazda 6.

General Comments:

My feeling on this car is that is so much of an improvement over my old 95 Jeep Wrangler. This car has pretty much every option available and my old Jeep had basically nothing so I prefer the 6.

The V6 220hp engine gives this car the power and speed it needs. It makes passing cars on the highway so much easier than my old car did. Also this car has the automatic transmission and the clutch-less stick transmission as well in case I ever want complete control of my car.

It looks good too. The style on this car is amazing. I love the way it looks. Other cars look so bland and boring when I see mine next to them. Mazda has a factory body kit which make the car have a sporty look to it and I like it.

This car car has plenty of room for me and I am 6'1". Other cars I tried simply had no room for me while this car fits like a glove. The seats adjust enough to the point where I actually had too much room and needed to bring it forward. The leather seats are so comfortable and I have been told they last longer than the cloth seats. I have not used the heating feature of the seat, but I am sure in the winter that it will be an often used feature.

The automatic climate control feature is something that I have gotten used to and love. All I have to do is set the temperature and the car will automatically do whatever is needed to maintain that temperature whether it be turning the heat on or the air conditioner on. It even will use the defroster if it needs it and that has helped me out so much cause I never knew how to properly use it on my old Jeep.

The audio package is a nice Bose brand radio and speakers and it is superb. Sounds are clear and just sound better in the car. Mazda has an option in the car that will actually increase the volume to match with the increase in speed. I also have the 6 disc in dash CD changer and that is so easy to use. Lets not forget that the 6 also has the steering wheel mounted controls which take some getting used to, but after a while almost become second nature. I can honestly say I have not used the volume dial in the last 3 weeks that's how used to the steering wheel controls I am.

The moon-roof is easy to use and operate. All you need to do is push and hold the button and it just slides right open.

Window controls are just as easy. For driverside window there is an auto 1 touch button, just push once and the driver window opens completely. I also have complete control of the other windows in the car as well.

Trunk space on this car is huge. I opened the trunk and was amazed at the space available. So far I have yet to fill it completely; that is how much room there is.

All in all I must say I LOVE my Mazda 6 s sedan. And by the way, it may be called a sedan, but it is definitely a sports car.
