1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 2.4 4 cylinder

Summary:

Very reliable and cheap to maintain

Faults:

Cap and rotor needed to be replaced.

It now takes two quarts of oil between oil changes. Which is every 3,000 miles.

Needed new tires, and alignment.

One of my lifters knocks at idle and low Revolutions per minute.

General Comments:

It has been a good truck for me. I do the routine maintenance on it, put gas in it and it just keeps on running. I wish they still made them, because I would buy another.

I bought my 1994 mighty max in august of 04 and had the same problem with the lifter... how do I fix that.

1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max

Summary:

Wonderfully awesome for people who don't know cars

Faults:

The light no longer works in the cab.

The car "eat" oil, I have to add more every 2000 miles.

Horrible gas mileage in first and second gear.

The sick tends to pop out of second into neutral.

Rolls horribly on hills.

First gear tends to put a lot of strain on the engine.

General Comments:

Not a family type truck, but it is a great first car.

Great gas mileage in 3rd, 4th gear, and 5th.

I've 30000 miles on the same set of brake pads, and I've never replaced the clutch.

The car has driven in beach sand, mountains, snow, and tornadoes with out any problems.

I've never worried about it breaking down.

Nothing has ever broken on the car, it's never been in the shop.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
