1982 Pontiac LeMans Wagon 3.8 V6

Summary:

Solid

Faults:

The radiator leaked when I bought the car.

The exhaust was rusted through.

General Comments:

For a 1982 mid size station wagon, it handles very well. With the V6, it is fairly good on gas, for the year anyway. But still has plenty of power.

It has been reliable for me, and apart from oil changes and belts, and such, I have not done much work on it.

Did I mention I paid $300 for it?

It has a strange knock in the motor, but it's an old car, so it makes old car noises.

The trans shifts smoothly, but the lockup torque converter locks in second gear sometimes.

All in all, a good car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
