1991 Fiat Uno 45ie 1.0

Summary:

The best car for anyone who wants to save money

Faults:

I had to change many parts after about

10.000 kilometers. for example the exhaust, the alternator, the clutch, but that is normal after 10.000 km for any car.

Since then it has just been running and running without any problems at all.

General Comments:

It's a great car

I Love it.

Cheap in owning and cheap spare parts.

1988 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e cat 1.3

Summary:

High performance with a good price and economy!

Faults:

Brake cylinder, handbrake.

Electric windows - had to change rubber list.

General Comments:

A car you drive with the pleasure of leaving all others behind!

Not a car for women though, my girlfriend hated it!

A relatively cheap car to drive, and cheap spare parts. Easy to build car stereo systems, lots of space for large base elements. I had three 12" bass speakers.

I love the car and I won't sell it!

1987 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e. 1.3 turbo petrol

Faults:

Oil leaking from turbo.

Bad grounding.

When regulator belt broke it came between the timing belt and wheel, which meant the timing belt broke. But the vent's can't break on this model, lucky me!

Handbrake.... etc..

General Comments:

If you learn to love the car and live with the problems... When it works it's SO FUN to drive that it's worth all the problems.... A hint how to love the car: Install bleedvalve, and kick the BMW owner's ASS!

1989 Fiat Uno 45 1.0

Faults:

I've just owned it for a few months. Previously it was owned by an old lady who had it since it was all new.

The car is in very good shape. No rust at all which is very unusual for this model.

General Comments:

Cheap insurance and VERY low running costs make me love this car.
