1988 Audi Coupe GT 2.2

Summary:

Comfortable cruiser with attitude

Faults:

When I bought the car I replaced the timing belt (front end of car had to be removed, space is very tight).

Indicator flasher unit packed up.

Oil pressure warning light started flashing regularly, so spark removed the bottom connector on the switch on the block and if didn't flash then it would be an engine problem, thankfully turned out to be electrical.

Slight rust round wing panel indicator flasher otherwise body and interior in very good condition

Oil and Filter change with Slick50 added.

General Comments:

A dream to drive, lots of torque, first gear out of puff quickly.

1988 Audi Coupe GT Auto 2.2i petrol

Faults:

Exhaust keeps falling apart, tappets very noisy, radiator always hot so fans always on, steering problems.

General Comments:

Wow ultra fast acceleration but top end 135mph, looks great and sounds even better. Very expensive to run, £42 to fill up and 320 miles on a tank.

Very nice inside and when compared to my BMW this wins as it's so driver friendly and has stunning looks.
