2018 Fiat Tipo Lounge 1.4 petrol

Summary:

Excellent alternative hatch

Faults:

I have only had it one year, long term reliability remains to be seen. No problems so far though. Servicing cost was reasonable, and I put new front tyres on it.

General Comments:

My Fiat Tipo Lounge looks great in white with black alloy wheels, this is a very smart looking car inside and out. I think it is a really nice looking car for a run of the mill family hatch.

Inside is very comfortable and has a bit of a retro feel going on. Console display is tiny, but I am used to it now. All the other controls are well laid out and at hand. Seats are comfortable, and enough space for me.

1.4 petrol will get you its combined mpg of around 42, and has a decent bit of punch, but is no race car. Around town it is nippy and smooth, and that is all I need. Tax and insurance are very cheap for me as well. Purchase price used is also as cheap as it gets these days - a low mileage 2018 car for less than £8500!

I rarely see them about, making it a great alternative to the common hatchbacks you do see all day everyday (Focus, Astra); the Tipo really is something different.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
