2016 Ford Fiesta 82 Style 1.25 petrol

Summary:

Fantastic

Faults:

Nothing so far, but have only used it lightly over the last six months.

General Comments:

The Fiesta is a fantastic little car, but quite a downgrade in comfort and space compared to my previous 2010 Vauxhall Insignia. That car was getting old however and my family is all grown up and moved out the house, so just need a car for myself now, and this Fiesta does me fine.

Cramped and a little slow, but OK to drive and economical, this Fiesta has been good so far. Style spec is kinda basic, but has enough electrics for me.

Quite nice black exterior, 5 door model. Inside looks good also, love the dash and control layout. Seats are comfortable, but the lack of space takes a bit of getting used to, as mentioned before.

If it proves reliable I will keep it long term as my daily driver, a very smart and economical little car so far, very impressed.

2016 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25 petrol

Summary:

Impressive

Faults:

Other than the expected wear and tear parts replaced, basically nothing.

General Comments:

The modern 2016 Fiesta is everything you could want in the basics of motoring - reliable, safe, good to drive, holds its value well, nice to travel in, etc. Very hard to fault this little car.

1.25 Zetec is a good spec and engine, plenty of equipment for its class and the engine, although not great performing, is cheap to run. Handling is very, very sharp. Great to drive.

Comfortable and looks good in blue, 2 door with standard alloy wheels.

Had the car 4 years and it has never let me down, I make sure it gets every oil change. Recommended if you want to keep it long term which I do. Cousin still has his 2001 Fiesta so I see no reason why this car won't last a long time.

2016 Ford Fiesta EcoBoost Titanium 1.0 petrol

Summary:

Decent little car

Faults:

Not much, brakes needed attention at last service.

Driver's seat is a little worn looking, which is disappointing at only 5 years old.

Radio sometimes won't come on.

Air con has been colder.

General Comments:

A great little run around, the modern Fiesta is a nice car if you want hassle free modern motoring. Nothing special at all, but the car does not pretend to be anything else.

1.0 EcoBoost feels OK around town. Country roads/motorway driving shows its shortcomings - not slow, but go for the bigger engines if you want performance. It can do around 50 - 60 mpg if you cruise slowly, which for petrol is excellent.

Interior is quiet and smooth, refined for a smaller car. Dash looks very strange, but it is a typical modern car. The Titanium model is near top of range and has most things electric. A little cramped, and the seats could be better.

Mines is the 5 door in silver with alloy wheels, not bad looking, 3 door is better looking than 5 door however.

There is little between the Fiesta and Corsa now, very similar cars. Same could be said for the Focus and Astra.
