Faults:

Minor rattle from behind the radio - fixed immediately by dealer under warranty.

General Comments:

The CRV might not set the pulse racing, but it's ultra reliable and does exactly what it says on the tin.

Got a pretty good deal - last of the old shape which the dealer was probably keen to move off the forecourt.

Having owned two Audi A4s, the CRV had a lot to live up to. If anything though, the engineering/reliability seems even better.

Dealer service is great - they pick it up from my home and leave a courtesy car whenever it needs a service.

The main benefit though is interior space. Leg room in the back is probably equal to that of a big luxury car and camping trips are a doddle thanks to the big load area.

For a 4x4 on-road performance isn't too bad.

Off road performance is (I've read) not that good - but who goes off road anyway?

Nothing to date.

General Comments:

This is a high quality car with superb fit and finish. The cabin is airy and spacious. The high seating position means that children will love being able to see more out of the windows. The load space has been improved and offers and is very flexible with folding and sliding rear seats. The engine is smooth and responsive - especially if you use the overdrive on the auto-box. Goos design details can be found everywhere - we like the highly visible satellite navigation system, the integrated hand brake which leaves a clear floor and the dash mounted auto gear box lever.

Faults:

Nothing. No rattles, loose trim. Perfect.

General Comments:

Good all round family vehicle with some nice features that surprise and delight.

We particularly like the folding table and hand brake position.

Driving the car - good forward visibility. Being that little bit taller helps you to see over normal cars in dense traffic.
