2001 Mazda Demio

Summary:

A reliable and graceful friend

Faults:

None.

General Comments:

This car has just about every virtue and is by far the most allrounder I have ever owned. Economy, space, efficient power ratios in the gears, stops on a sixpence and drives like a dream around corners. Plenty of room in the back when the seats are down and a roof fixing too. Much head room inside for a tall person, easy to get in and out and good all round vision. Light and balanced.

2001 Mazda Demio GSi 1.5i

Summary:

A roomy and unusual mini-MPV, which is better than they say

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

A good little car, amazing equipment including:

Large electric sunroof, electric heated mirrors, electric windows x4, alarm, deadlocks, front fogs, remote central locking, immobiliser, visible VIN all for £10500.

A big improvement from my previous Daewoo in terms of build quality, style and image. The 1.5i automatic is slow and not particularly economical, the 1.5i manual is tons better, lacks the style of the previous generation with no alloys, rear spoiler and nudge bar, but still it looks different. Recommended highly.
