1989 SAAB 9000 2.0 petrol

Faults:

Water pump.

Gear-box fell to bits after the flywheel fell off.

Power steering rack leaking.

Front wheel bearings.

Radiator/oil cooler became 1 milky reservoir!

General Comments:

Considering the age and mileage, all of the above are to be expected, but the cost of repairing is the killer.

1989 SAAB 9000 Sport Turbo 2.0 turbo petrol

Faults:

At 95,000m have replaced exhaust and front discs. Rear discs about to give up the ghost. Only time I was let down was by a fluke combined failure of the starter motor and injection unit together (Expensive bill).

General Comments:

Costly to run, but fantastic to drive and worth every penny!
