2015 Volkswagen Golf SV Bluemotion Tech SE DSG 1.6 TDi
Summary:
Excellent
Faults:
Not much. Had this car three years, no breakdowns. It has full history and I have continued to look after it well, with early oil changes and long drives to keep the emissions systems happy.
General Comments:
Golf "SV" basically turns the ordinary Golf hatchback into an MPV with taller dimensions. Its a really spacious car and inherits the Golf hatch's great driving dynamics.
The 1.6 TDi from 2015 onwards is a much more sorted engine from VW. I had a friend who had a Golf from 2010 with the 1.6 diesel and he had injector issues (expensive and annoying) but this is definitely a redesigned engine from 2015, I have had no problems with it at all.
Very nice to drive, SE model gets plenty kit. Quality materials. Seats very comfortable. Automatic DSG box is smooth, fast and still economical at nearly 60 mpg on average.
All in all a surprising MPV; I thought I would hate it, but it's still very much a Golf with more space, and still rather sharp looking and great to drive for an MPV. My car is silver, a common but nice color that suits it well. If you like the Golf but need a little more space, check out the SV version.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

80,000 miles in a year! Wow.
I don't own a Golf now, but have done in the past and I thought the boot space was great for the size of car and couldn't call it bouncy in the slightest. I thought it was rather a good car to be honest. Obviously I can't comment on your car's reliability though. Sounds like you've marked it quite harsh in my mind.
