Excellent dependable van. Good mileage for such a big vehicle. Would buy another voyager, or the town and country.

2000 Chrysler Voyager LX 2.5 CRD from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Good

Faults:

Banging sound in the front wheels when hitting a hump. Got quoted £110.00 + VAT + parts, which were £50.00. Took it to a local dealer, put bushes in, problem still there. So took to a local garage - he said straight away, tie rod bars, the rubbers in them wear, which is what causes the banging. £25 cash...

Not so good then was it?

2000 Chrysler Voyager SE 2.5 turbo diesel from Poland

Summary:

Fast and reliable American classic

Faults:

Nothing so far, but some minor suspension problems. This is the only family van besides of Pontiac Transport on the market worth of recommendation. None of European car manufacturers like Mercedes, Opel, Ford Galaxy to name just a few isn't worth of money spent on it. American classic is the winner. Of course the plastic parts of upholstery is sensitive and delicate when driving in the polish streets.

General Comments:

The car is fast up to 190 km/h and very comfortable on the long distances. Never failed always starts at once even in the sub zero temperatures. Easy and relatively cheap to maintain. The car can surprise when well maintained and properly taken care of. Dash board looks much better than the one in the latest Voyager version. Everything is just ideal. I recommend it. Worth every dime spent on.

2000 Chrysler Voyager LE 2.5 TD from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Very roomy and beats all the competition hands down

Faults:

Engine kept cutting out on roundabouts or sharp left hand corners which was traced to a loose sensor wire and has now been rectified. Drivers mirror glass wobbles annoyingly. A new part is on order from Chrysler.

General Comments:

The vehicle handles very well indeed although I think that the engine could be a little more sound proofed. Other than that, the whole car is superb.

2000 Chrysler Voyager Base 3.3 from Mexico

Summary:

Excellent family car

Faults:

At the moment no problems to be reported, considering that the car has only 11,000 kms. But compared with the Ford Windstar I think this minivan is better in performance. The complaints that I heard of the brand are related to the transmission, I hope mine will break.

General Comments:

Good minivan, maybe Chrysler should be more careful with the quality of the interiors.
