2017 Ford F250 Super Duty lariat 6.7 turbo diesel from North America
Summary:
I would definitely buy it again based upon the past 9 years of service.
Faults:
Radiator hose between radiator split - caused no damage because I fixed it before it ran out of coolant.
General Comments:
Excellent power for pulling heavy loads. 6 speed transmission has been very reliable with absolutely no trouble. Interior is well made with quality materials and workmanship. All electronics have functioned as designed. Only one issue and that is the front end has been troublesome. Started out with the "death wobble" at 21,300 miles. Almost ran me off the highway at 75 mph. Have gone through two aftermarket "fixes" adding two dampening pistons (shocks) to the steering mechanism. The steering and front end issues have really been the only thing I can say I have had problems with. I've averaged 16 mpg driving under 70 mph and 15.3 driving at 75 mph. Since the day I bought the vehicle I've been adding Amsoil diesel additive because of the fact that the CP4 fuel pump could be a disaster due the low sulfer diesel. I've used nothing but Amsoil synthetic oil and have changed oil and filter every 12,000 miles. I change fuel filters both upper and lower every 20,000 miles. I expect this Ford to go at least 300,000 miles.
