2022 Ford Focus Estate EcoBlue Zetec 1.5 diesel from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Good looking and comfortable car

Faults:

I bought the car used last year and have had no issues, though it is slightly higher mileage for its age. According to the history the previous owner had some issues with the annoying "ad-blue" system that is in most modern diesels now, but it has been fixed.

Other than that not much, had the usual wear and tear parts replaced (brake pads, tyres, etc).

General Comments:

Modern Focus blue estate car with the diesel engine and in estate form is a fantastic modern car that does it all as a nice all round car. Very good looking car and super comfortable.

Economy is fantastic from the 1.5 diesel, genuine 60 mpg if driven carefully. And it is good to drive, super smooth controls.

Inside is very modern as expected for a 2022 car. Touch screen a bit fiddly but you get used to it.

Plenty of space in the back, much more practical than the regular Focus hatch, I can highly recommend the estate version.

Zetec spec has more than enough electrics for anyone.

Overall hard to say much more, it's everything you expect form a modern car, economical, reliable and comfortable. If I am being really picky - it's not as big and comfortable or as nice to drive as my old Mondeo, but the Focus is in a lower class size, but since I am living alone now and in a different job where I mostly drive alone, the Focus is more than sufficient for me right now.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
